BetterWarden Proprietary License
Copyright (c) 2026 psikuvit. All rights reserved.

This is proprietary software. It is NOT open source, and no license under
any open-source or free-software license is granted by this repository's
public visibility (if any), by its git history, or by any file within it.
All rights not expressly granted below are reserved by the copyright
holder.

This license covers both the source code in this repository and the
compiled plugin ("the Software") distributed as BetterWarden-Free,
BetterWarden (Standard), and BetterWarden (Network), in any edition or
platform build (Paper, Spigot, Velocity, BungeeCord, or standalone).

1. SOURCE CODE

This repository and its full history are confidential and proprietary.
No license, express or implied, is granted to view, copy, modify,
compile, distribute, or create derivative works from the source code,
except to the extent the copyright holder has explicitly granted such
rights in writing (for example, to a contractor or collaborator for the
purpose of working on the project itself). Access to this repository,
however obtained, does not itself constitute such a grant.

2. FREE EDITION (BetterWarden-Free)

Subject to Section 4, you are granted a free, non-exclusive,
non-transferable license to:

  a. Download and run the compiled Free-edition jar on any number of
     Minecraft servers you own or administer, for any purpose,
     including commercial ones (e.g. a server with a paid rank shop).

You are NOT granted any right to redistribute the jar yourself (link to
the official download instead), bundle it into another plugin or
modpack, sell it, or represent it as your own work.

3. STANDARD AND NETWORK EDITIONS (paid)

A purchase of the Standard or Network edition grants you, subject to
Section 4, a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  a. Standard: run the compiled jar on ONE Minecraft server you own or
     administer.
  b. Network: run the compiled jars across the servers and proxies of
     ONE Minecraft network (one set of interconnected servers) you own
     or administer.

Each purchase is a separate license for a separate server or network.
Running a Standard or Network license across more servers/networks than
purchased, or sharing a purchased copy with another person or
organization, is not permitted - purchase an additional license instead.
Refund and delivery terms are set out separately at time of purchase
(betterwarden.dev) and are incorporated by reference.

4. RESTRICTIONS (all editions)

You may NOT, whether for the Free, Standard, or Network edition:

  a. Redistribute, sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise make the
     Software available to any third party, in whole or in part, in its
     original or a modified form;
  b. Decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or otherwise attempt to
     derive the source code of the compiled jar, except to the limited
     extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  c. Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution
     notice contained in the Software;
  d. Use the Software, or any part of it, to build a competing product
     or service;
  e. Claim authorship of the Software or represent yourself as its
     developer.

5. NO WARRANTY

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND
NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR
ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN
CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE
SOFTWARE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PLAYER ACCOUNTS.

6. TERMINATION

Any license granted under this document terminates automatically,
without notice, if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination you
must stop using the Software and delete all copies in your possession.

7. CONTACT
